PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centrifugal fan showing excellent blade performances as soon as possible by effectively inhibiting horse-shoe swirl. SOLUTION: This centrifugal fan comprises: a round main plate 14 rotationally driven by a motor rotary shaft; a plurality of blades 16 fixed on an outer circumference part of the main plate 14 at one end side thereof with keeping predetermined intervals in a circumferential direction; and an arc shape cross section side plate 15 inclined from a center side air suction port to an outer circumference side centrifugal direction at predetermined curvature. The plurality of blades 16 are provided with hose-shoe swirl inhibition part R1 respectively. Since hose-shoe swirl is inhibited by the hose-shoe swirl inhibition part R1 and the hose-shoe swirl is not easily formed or is small even if it is formed, effect on main flow passing through the blades 16 gets small and blasting performance is improved.
