PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method and a repair method, which bring about the durability and safety of a sidewalk surface in construction work for color-paving a sidewalk section of a road, a bridge face of a pedestrian bridge, etc. SOLUTION: A laying surface of a pedestrian-friendly colored tile with flexibility is heated by a direct firing burner etc., and stuck on an asphalt-paved surface etc. in such a manner as to form one integrated surface, while joint portions are welded with pressure in the state of butting against each other. A portion connected to a building is cut by being strongly pressed by means of a hot iron in accordance with a shape of the building, and a portion joined to the building is finished by means of the hot iron.
