PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in a conventional screed plate heating apparatus using burners 5, 9, wherein a machine center part and both ends in a main screed plate 1, and a plate lower face on the extension side end in an extensible screed plate 2 are not sufficiently heated. SOLUTION: The machine center part of a screed plate 30A is directly heated because hot blast fed into a duct 53 is taken from one end of piping 54 through an open hole 53a and blasted from the other end. As a result, the other end of the piping 54 is turned to a portion not sufficiently heated only with exhaust heat so that hot blast can directly hit and sufficiently heat that portion. The whole screed plate 30A can thereby be uniformly heated to suppress the occurrence of heating unevenness. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
