PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely break a pile head by simply rapidly fixing an expansion device at the predetermined position inside the pile head. SOLUTION: This device 1 has a structure which supports a hydraulic cylinder 3 during operation at the vertical center part of the front 71 of a vertically long pillar structure and obtains reaction force at the upper and lower sides of the rear face 72 of the vertically long pillar structure. The support plate 8 of the hydraulic cylinder 3 is configured as a guide for inserting the device 1 inside the pile head, and an H-shaped pillar 7 is configured as a guide for locating the hydraulic cylinder 3 inside the pile head.
