METHOD FOR MANAGING THE BANDWIDTH OF CIRCUIT-EMULATED FLOW IN PACKET NETWORK

A packet-based circuit band control method is provided to control the flow of received packet data by measuring the accumulation band and effective band of each subscriber and then comparing the measured accumulation band and effective band with the current band. The accumulation band time and effective band time are measured through a received packet(S205). A flow is registered through the flow state table search(S215). If the received packet is a controlled target packet, the state of the flow including the received packet is confirmed(S230). If the flow is registered, the operation of the flow is temporarily released and a flow state table is updated(S235). The effective band time is calculated through the received packet processing time(S250).
