<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that cost rises when requiring a constituent part for inspecting the state of a printed image such as an image reading part and an inspection charging device in a printer 100 having a charging function by as much as requirement of the constituent part. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus where consumable parts work to perform predetermined image formation and charging is performed according to image forming output includes: a consumable parts working amount acquiring means 111 acquiring the working amount (expressed in terms of number of printed sheets) of the consumable parts; a consumable parts working amount storage means 112 storing the working amount (expressed in terms of number of printed sheets) of the consumable parts acquired by the consumable parts working amount acquiring means 111; and a charging processing means performing charging processing based on the working amount (expressed in terms of number of printed sheets) stored in the consumable parts working amount storage means 112. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
