<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear motor capable of computing a cogging compensation Fourier coefficient, which does not contain a thrust ripple factor, and also computing a thrust ripple compensation Fourier coefficient. <P>SOLUTION: The linear motor includes at least a compensation means for compensating cogging, generated according to a commutation phase angle of the motor while thrust force instruction is given from a speed control means to a thrust force generating unit, which generates thrust force proportional to a current, which is caused to flow in the motor for transfer control of a load, or a compensation means for compensating a thrust ripple generated according to the thrust force instruction and a commutation phase angle. The linear motor includes a cogging/thrust ripple integrated analysis unit for feeding at least the cogging compensation means or the thrust ripple compensation means, with at least a thrust-ripple compensating Fourier coefficient or a cogging compensating Fourier coefficient, which has been computed based on fourier integration operation, which contains a zeroth Fourier integral of the commutation phase angle that results from dynamic friction force of the motor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
