SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR NOTIFICATION OF DOCUMENT PROCESSING UNIT STATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for notificaiton of a document processing unit status.

SOLUTION: A device state notification is received from the document processing unit. Threshold data corresponding to a predetermined notification threshold are stored. Count data corresponding to the number of received device status notifications are stored. The stored count data are compared with the threshold data. Based on the compared result, a notification message addressed to a related manager is generated.
