<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring instrument for directing an index part by a directive part for moving that converts the turning motion of a turning inner machine into polygonal motion. <P>SOLUTION: The measuring instrument 1 includes a display plate 2 having light transmission by forming index parts 21-23 along each side of a regular polygon; the turning inner machine having a rotary shaft 61 in the center of the regular polygon, by being arranged rearward of the display plate 2; a sun gear 3, fixed on the rotary shaft 61 by being arranged between the display plate 2 and the turning inner machine; a ring gear 4, having inner teeth 41 on the inner peripheral side by being arranged at a concentric position of the sun gear 3 on the outer peripheral side of the sun gear 3; and a planetary gear 5 for forming the directive part 51, designating the index parts 21-23 from the rear side of the display plate 2, by being engaged with both the inner teeth 41 of the ring gear 4 and the sun gear 3. The measuring instrument sets the position of the directive part 51, the number of teeth of the sun gear 3, the number of the inner teeth of the ring gear 4, and the number of teeth of the planetary gear 5 so as to direct the index parts 21-23, by moving the directive part 51 along regular polygonal sides, by the turning of a rotary shaft 61. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
