<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control technique by which a print job can be smoothly received while preventing the development of a timeout error by a print job sending end without creating increase in network traffic and complication of the management processing of a print job. <P>SOLUTION: A printer controller as a print job receiving set acquires information on a timeout value from a PC as a printing indicating device (S301, S302) and adjusts the receiving velocity of a print job depending on the timeout value (S303 to S305). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
