<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suitably cool a storage battery device as to a power output device and its control method, and a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: The target speed Nf* of rotation of a cooling fan which cools a battery is so set as to tend to increase as predicted loss Lest of the battery based upon the management center SOC* of the battery is larger (S310, S320), and a fan motor is driven and controlled so that the cooling fan rotates at the set target speed Nf+ of rotation (S330). Consequently, when the predicted loss Lest based upon the management center SOC* is relatively large, the battery can be sufficiently cooled and when the predicted loss Lest is relatively small, power consumption of the fan motor can be suppressed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
