PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a headlight for a vehicle capable of using psychology being going to lower a vehicle speed even if a look is induced to a far side by irradiating the far side at a front side of the vehicle (for example, by luminous intensity distribution for highway). SOLUTION: The headlight for the vehicle irradiating the far side at the front side of the vehicle is provided with a vehicle periphery area irradiation means for irradiating a vehicle periphery area visually recognized by a periphery look of a driver when the vehicle speed exceeds a predetermined threshold value.
