PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an imaging device which automatically performs a follow shot with reducing blur of a target object, and its programs. SOLUTION: Image data are divided into a plurality of blocks as shown in Fig. 2(A). The middle block in the image is a target block 31, and blocks surrounding its angle of view are background blocks 32. If the maximum block number of the background blocks 32, the blocks of which have the same motion vector, is greater than a threshold m, the amount of scalar of the motion vector of the background blocks 32 is greater than a threshold v and the amount of scalar of the motion vector of the target block 31 is smaller than a threshold vc, a follow shot is available, and it is determined that there is no blur of the target object.
