PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery pack and a method of manufacturing the same, capable of molding a cover in a simple structure while position accuracy of a contact pad is secured in an integrally-molded battery pack. SOLUTION: In the method of manufacturing the battery pack for molding the cover integrated with a cell battery 2 and the contact pad 9, the contact pad 9 includes a main body having an opening formed, and a terminal 11 for external connection arranged at the position of the opening. A metal mold for molding a cover includes the metal mold 24 having a projection 28 fitted with both ends of the contact pad 9, the cell battery 2 having the contact pad 9 attached is installed on the metal mold 24 having the projection 28, a plurality of metal molds are closed after fitting both ends of the contact pad 9 and the projection 28, and the cover is molded by pouring a resin into a space surrounded by the plurality of metal molds and the cell battery 2.
