PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily separate a recording material having low rigidity passing through a transfer part having a rotation face with a porous structure from an image carrier without enhancing offset. SOLUTION: When the recording material P with basis weight of 52 g/m<SP>2</SP>or less is designated, a clear toner charged in negative polarity is thickly carried on a cylindrical face of a secondary transfer roller 14 to cover a large number of voids of the surface before toner images of images are secondarily transferred to the recording material P. After clear toner images Tc are transferred on a secondary transfer roller 14, toner images Tg of each color image carried on an intermediate transfer belt 7 are collectively secondarily transferred from the intermediate transfer belt 7 to the recording material P with a secondary transfer part T2 while the clear toner is sandwiched between the recording material P and the secondary transfer roller 14.
