PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a short circuit detection circuit capable of detecting an output short circuit of a push-pull circuit without causing a cost increase and power loss. SOLUTION: The short circuit detection circuit is configured so as to generate a dummy pulse signal Vy synchronized with a pulse signal Vx, and to detect a short circuit of an OUP1P terminal in accordance with whether a prescribed phase difference occurs between both the signals.
