PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data holding circuit which is capable of improving the reliability by preventing software errors. SOLUTION: The data holding circuit includes: a first input terminal IN through which data is input; at least one delay element 101 for delaying the data to be input to the first input terminal; and first elements 102 and 103 for holding data based on the data input through the first input terminal when data input through the first input terminal and the data delayed by the delay element are identical, and holding data held in the first elements themselves as they are when they are different.
