PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting machine capable of cutting products, in particular, sheet-form fabrics formed of a so-called difficult-to-cut fiber such as a para-aramid fiber or a PBO fiber. SOLUTION: The cutting machine has a receiving blade of a predetermined length, a round blade which moves while rotating with its end in a cutting direction held in an inclined form in contact with the receiving blade, a rack extending in the cutting direction, and a gear rotating while meshing with the rack, and is provided with a cutting means for increasing a rotation speed of the moving round blade to exceed a working speed of the round blade and a pressing means for fixing a workpiece to be cut, wherein the receiving blade and the round blade are formed of cemented carbide. The cutting machine cuts the workpiece formed of a difficult-to-cut fiber with the cutting means formed by connecting an upper section which has a handle and allows the cutting means to move linearly with respect to the receiving blade and a lower section which has the round blade in a space at one end thereof, holding the round blade in an inclined state in contact with the receiving blade, and with the pressing means pressing both ends of the workpiece at a cutting position from above.
