<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter where the display quality is hardly damaged by a spacer section. <P>SOLUTION: This color filter comprises a substrate, a colored layer formed in a pattern shape on the substrate, and a spacer section that is formed on a boundary region of the colored layer and includes bead and resin.
