<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an effective technique for combining reduction in weight of a steering wheel core metal and maintaining the rigidity of the same in a steering wheel installed in a vehicle and used for steering the vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: In the steering wheel 101 installed in the vehicle for steering the vehicle, especially a circular part 102a of the steering wheel core metal 102 is composed by overlapping a first half 104a made of metal on a second half 105a made of resin. A plurality of extending pieces that extend so as to intersect with a surface in which the steering wheel core metal 102 extends are provided in a region defined by the first half 104a and the second half 105a, and the profile of the plurality of extending pieces corresponds to the inner peripheral surfaces of the first half 104a and the second half 105a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
