PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooler achieved in the space saving of the cooler and a defrosting heater, after reducing power consumption in defrosting. SOLUTION: The cooler 1 disposed in a refrigerator body which is a heat insulating box forming a storage chamber includes cooling pipes 2 and a fin 4 wherein at least the cooling pipe 2 located at the lowermost stage has a naked pipe 2c where the fin 4 is not formed, and a defrosting heater 5 is fixed to the naked pipe 2c through a heat transfer plate 6 so that the thermal conduction of the cooling pipe 2 and pipe convection can be improved to efficiently perform defrosting.
