PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice cooker with warmer which reduces the consumption power amount especially at the time of hot keeping, improves the taste of cooked rice at the same time, reduces unevenness in the hot-keeping temperature, and prevents dew from sticking to the pan side surface. SOLUTION: This rice cooker with warmer is equipped with a side surface heating means 20 which heats the side surface of the pan 2 which is detachably housed in the main body 1. On the outer periphery of the side surface heating means 20, a cylindrical side surface heat-insulating material 21 is arranged, and the surface of the side surface heat-insulating material 21 facing the side surface heating means 20 is made a mirror surface 21a. Thus, the heat-insulating property is increased by preventing heat from releasing by conduction to the outside by the actions of the side surface heat-insulating material 21 and the mirror surface 21a. Especially, the consumption power amount at the time of hot keeping is reduced, and at the same time, the pan side surface is evenly heated at the times of rice cooking and hot keeping in such a manner that the radiant heat is diffused by the mirror surface 21a of the side surface heat-insulating material 21 facing the side surface heating means 20, and is reflected to the pan 2 side. Thus, the taste of cooked rice can be improved at the time of rice cooking, the unevenness in the hot keeping temperature at the time of hot keeping can be reduced, and dew can be prevented from sticking to the pan side surface.
