PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor for preventing a power to be consumed for communication between an information processor and an external device from increasing than necessary. SOLUTION: This information processor (a host device 10 and an input/output device 20) communicates with external devices 41 to 45. The information processor is provided with a plurality of communication units FC00 to FC03 and LN00 to LN03 having ports P00 and P01 to be used in a connection state or a non-connection state. The information processor is configured so that an external connected to the port for switching can be changed. The information processor is provided with a connection adding means for connecting the unconnected port for switching (the port P01 of the communication unit FC01) in the communication unit having the port (the port P00 of the communication unit FC01) connected to the external device among the communication units.
