PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-insulating foamed paper cup having a foamed layer, which does not spoil the clearness of a printing applied on the surface of the paper cup, and is efficiently highly foamed, and having a high heat-insulating property. SOLUTION: This heat-insulating foamed paper cup (C) consists of a body member (9) and a bottom member (10). Then, the material constitution of the body member (9) consists of at least a thermoplastic resin layer (the front surface) (3), a paper base material layer (4), and a thermoplastic resin layer (the rear surface) (5) on the innermost surface side from the external surface side for the heat-insulating foamed paper cup (C). In the heat-insulating foamed paper cup (C), the thermoplastic resin layer (the front surface) (3) on the external surface side is constituted of at least two layers (an upper layer and a lower layer) (1 and 2). The MI (melt index) of the thermoplastic resin of the upper layer (on the external surface side) (1) is 4 or lower, and the melting point is less than 115°C. The MI of the thermoplastic resin of the lower layer (on the paper base material layer side) (2) is 2 or more, and the melting point is less than 115°C. Also, the MI of the thermoplastic resin of the upper layer is lower than that of the thermoplastic resin of the lower layer for the heat-insulating foamed paper cup. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
