A mixing faucet having increased durability. A mixing faucet having a tubular casing (1) has a control valve element (2) for adjusting the degree of opening and closing of a hot-water inlet (a) and a cold-water inlet (b) according to the balance of loads which the control valve element (2) receives from both an urging body (4) and an actuator (5), and the mixing faucet also has circular tubular temperature adjustment means (8, 9) rotated by a user to adjust the position of the control valve element (2). The temperature adjustment means (8, 9) has an upper surface (81) at one end thereof, a knob (82) located at the center of the upper surface (81), and a circular groove (83) formed around the knob (82) on the upper surface (81). The temperature adjustment means (8, 9) is placed in the casing (1) coaxially with the casing (1) with the knob (82) inserted in a hole (12) open in one end of the casing (1). A spacer (100) for covering the groove (83) in the upper surface (81) of the temperature adjustment means (8, 9) is held between the upper surface (81) and the one end of the casing (1).
