PROGNOSTIC MARKER FOR CANCER

The present invention concerns methods for identifying a subject predisposed to, or suffering from, a cancer caused by a human tumour virus. The method involves examining ARH GEF16 levels in a bodily sample from a test subject and comparing activity or expression levels with a reference derived from an individual who does not suffer from cancer. A subject with raised activity or a raised concentration of ARH GEF16 is suffering from cancer or is predisposed to developing cancer.
