The invention relates to a tachograph comprising a housing (1) in which a printing device and a compartment (13) for a roll of a strip-type printing material which can be imprinted by the printing device are arranged. The compartment (13) has a feed opening (2) that can be opened towards the user side of the tachograph and that can be closed by a cover (5). A plurality of operating elements (9) are arranged on the cover (5) and immobilize the cover (5) in its locked position, the operating elements (9) being displaceable from a locking position into a release position against a spring force. The operating elements (9) are arranged on the one end of swiveling arms that can be swiveled about their other end that is fixed to the cover. The operating elements (9) can be displaced from the locking position into the unlocking position in the plane of the cover (5) or parallel thereto. Lock elements are arranged on the swiveling arms and are actively connected to locking elements, which are fixed to the housing in the locking position of the operating elements (9), this active connection being released in the unlocking position of the operating elements (9), thereby allowing the cover (5) to be opened. |
