SEALING RING MADE OF SYNTHETIC RESIN AND INJECTION MOLDING METALLIC MOLD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing ring which is made of a synthetic resin and which has uniform size and proper material characteristics and to provide an injection molding metallic mold for manufacturing the sealing ring.

SOLUTION: In the sealing ring 2 which has a cut part 2a and is made of a synthetic resin by injection molding, a material injection part is provided over whole inner peripheral surface of the sealing ring 2. The material injection part is desirably provided over whole inner peripheral surface of the sealing ring 2 but may be provided over a part of the inner peripheral surface. That is, the material injection part may be provided over a region except a region of 45° from a cut part end surface among whole inner peripheral surface of the sealing ring and further both ends of the injection part may be at the same distance from the cut part.
