<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to improve on such characteristics as mechanical strength, flexibility, and gas impermeability of a fuel cell separator, as well as to save its weight and downsize it to be suitable for use for an automobile by devising to make its pre-molded body by the paper making method, as to one formed by press molding of the pre-molded body with expanded graphite as a main material so as to be excellent in conductivity and molding processability. <P>SOLUTION: For the fuel cell separator formed by press molding the pre-molding body 14 formed in a plate shape with the use of a molding die, the pre-molding body 14 is formed equipped with a prepreg p made by integrating an expanded graphite sheet 14A and a sheet-shaped body 14B made of thermosetting resin by piling and thermocompression bonding them. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
