<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a key device which can surely hold an emergency key in a key insertion port and also enables a smooth insertion and drawing of the emergency key into and from the key insertion port, through a simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: The key device comprises: a cylinder having the key insertion hole into which an authentication key can be inserted; a key detection device for detecting the insertion of the authentication key into the key insertion port; a transmitting/receiving circuit for making the authentication key inserted into the key insertion port carry out the transmitting/receiving action of an identification number using a transmitting/receiving coil; and ball members, provided on both sides of the key insertion port, which are radially energized with energizing members to hold the authentication key, preventing the authentication key from being removed from the key insertion port. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
