<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor for a power window that improves the responsiveness in detection of rotation by a rotation sensor for sensing the information of rotation of an output shaft. <P>SOLUTION: A speed reducer 3 includes a worm 22a (worm shaft 22) rotating based on the driving of a motor body 2 and a worm wheel 23, wherein the output shaft 24 for transmitting a drive force to a window glass is directly coupled to the worm wheel 23 without interposition of a shock-absorbing member. A rotation sensor 35 for sensing the information of rotation of the output shaft 24 is provided targeting the detection of a driven side rotor 32 of a braking mechanism 30 which is coupled to the worm shaft 22 in order to sense the information from the worm wheel 23 via the worm 22a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
