PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation device which terminates outputting a guide voice at an appropriate timing with respect to a reference point related to outputting the guide voice. SOLUTION: The navigation device comprises: a position specifying means 9 for specifying a position of a vehicle; a speed measuring means 13 for measuring a speed of the vehicle; voice output means 15, 17 each outputting the guide voice regarding a guide point N on the guide route leading to a destination; and a control means 1 that controls a guide voice output based on a reference point returned by a predetermined reference distance along the guide route from the guide point. The control means 1 causes the voice outputting means 15, 17 to output the guide voice, when the vehicle arrives at a voicing start point existing on a reverse passage along the guidance route at a voicing start distance from the guide point. The voicing start distance is longer than the reference distance, becomes longer as a voicing period being a period of the guide voice becomes longer, and becomes longer as the speed of the vehicle measured at a speed measurement point becomes faster in comparison with the reference point.
