PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vending machine for preventing the deterioration in cooling capability or heating capability accompanied by the shortage of a coolant circulating quantity by suppressing excess condensation in an outdoor heat exchanger concerning a vending machine for heating merchandise such as canned beverage by using waste heat in cooling the merchandise. SOLUTION: In heating a hot/cold switching chamber 1, the condensation capability of an outdoor heat exchanger 7 is suppressed by stopping a first cooling fan 30 by setting the detection temperature of an indoor heat exchanger temperature sensor 32 to a prescribed value or less. Also, excess cooling at the exit of the outdoor heat exchanger 7 is suppressed by generating temperature slide in the outdoor heat exchanger 7 by using non-azeotropic blending coolant.
