PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the accuracy of platform detection determination processing while the securing safety of passengers. SOLUTION: A detection device 1 of a platform for a vehicle holds a platform detection determination result 'Y' for only a time t over an oscillation time (sampling period)Δt. A control part 9 holds the platform detection determination result 'Y' by a reflected wave detection result for only the time t, and holds an "ON"- output from the control part 9 for only the time t and outputs it.
