PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil-in-polyhydric alcohol type emulsified cosmetic improving usability, enhancing the touch, and having an excellent feeling of use and good preservation stability with little irritation. SOLUTION: The oil-in-polyhydric alcohol type emulsified cosmetic comprises a polyhydric alcohol, an oil, a nonionic surfactant, and an oligoester obtained from following ingredients (a) to (c): (a) an 8-30C fatty acid or hydroxy-fatty acid (either of a straight-chain or a branched chain fatty acid and either of a saturated or an un-saturated fatty acid), (b) a 12-36C straight-chain or branched chain dibasic acid, and (c) glycerol or a glycerol condensate.
