PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the stator of a dynamo electric machine which is excellent in precision of a stator core. SOLUTION: The stator 3 of a dynamo electric machine 1 includes a stator core 30 facing a rotor 2 on the inner circumferential side or the outer circumferential side and having a plurality of slots arranged in the circumferential direction while aligning the depth direction with the radial direction, and a coil 4 placed in a slot 31 and formed of windings 40 of a plurality of phases waving in the circumferential direction. The stator core 30 has an annular core body 33 where a groove 330 having a width on the radial outside wider than the width of opening on the radial inside is extending in the axial direction, and teeth 32 provided with a portion 320 which can be fitted in the groove 330 of the core body 33.
