PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylindrical flexible membrane with a specified structure accurately and inexpensively manufacturable at all times without lowering the yielding of the material. SOLUTION: This cylindrical flexible membrane comprises an inner rubber layer 13, a cover rubber layer 14, and two cord reinforcement layers 5, 6 interposed between these layers. Both ends of the membrane are connected airtight to upper and lower surface plates 12 which are displaced relative to each other. At least one of the inner rubber layer 13 and the cover rubber layer 14 is formed in a seamless tube structure. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
