PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding door which dispenses with a glass mounting operation and enables standardization of components. SOLUTION: This sliding door for being housed in a frame body 1 provided in a building opening comprises a glass unit 20 which is constituted by integrating a square glass body 22 and edge members 23 provided throughout four sides at the peripheral edge of the glass body 22, and stile/rail bodies 21 which are mounted throughout the four sides on the indoor sides of the edge members 23 of the glass unit 20. The edge member 23 is equipped with an approximately U-shaped sectional mounting groove portion 25 for housing the peripheral edge of the glass body 22, and an indoor elongated portion 26 which is elongated toward to the indoor side from the mounting groove portion 25; and an inner peripheral resin cover material 24 for covering the indoor elongated portion 26 of the edge member 23 and an inner peripheral surface of the stile/rail body 21 is provided.
