PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely support a structure, supported on a base plate, by increasing the fixing strength of the base plate. SOLUTION: This counterweight 1 of a hydraulic excavator etc. enables the structure such as an antenna to be fixed on the base plates 3A and 3B by fixing the base plates 3A and 3B on a top plate 11 of an outer shell body 10. The counterweight 1 comprises a reinforcing plate 16 which is arranged in the outer shell body 10 and the upper end of which is fixed to the undersurface of each of the base plates 3A and 3B, and a support material 17 which is elongated downward from the reinforcing plate 16 and the lower end 17b of which is fixed to a base plate 12.
