PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a member connecting structure which materializes easy mounting of fixtures capable of preventing two different members from being separated from each other by a predetermined distance or farther. SOLUTION: In a member connecting structure, a first member and second member are connected to each other by prohibiting the members from being separated from each other by a predetermined distance or farther and allowing the members to approach each other nearer than predetermined distance by a coupling member consisting of a bendable string part 4 and a swollen part 6 which is provided to the end of the string part 4 and made larger than the maximum dimensions of the cross section of the string part 4. The second member is equipped with an engaging part consisting of an insertion hole 12 perforated in a shape allowing the swollen part 6 to pass therethrough and a slit 13 formed by a width prohibiting the swollen part 6 to pass therethrough and allowing the string part 4 to pass therethrough. The insertion hole 12 is formed so as to be situated in the opposite side of the first member with respect to the slit 13 when the first and second members are moved in a direction of separating from each other by inserting the swollen part 6 into the through-hole 12 and arranging the string part 4 in a position passing through the slit 13 besides fixing the other end side of the connecting member to the first member.
