<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle drive control device capable of suppressing sudden acceleration of a vehicle when a driver releases a braking operation. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicle drive control device performs automatic drive control by controlling driving torque generated by an engine so that the vehicle speed of a vehicle having a brake device generating braking torque by oil pressure in accordance with a driver's braking operation reaches a preset target vehicle speed, wherein the engine generates driving torque based upon a driver's acceleration operation, and the automatic drive control is carried out based on release of the braking operation by the driver without reference to the driver's acceleration operation. When the driver's braking operation is released (step ST4), current target driving torque ETo(n) is calculated (steps ST7 and ST8) so that the driving torque generated by the engine is limited to be less than driving torque with which a vehicle speed V can reach a target vehicle speed Vo for a predetermined time after the release of the driver's braking operation (step ST6). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
