PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To desirably relieve shock while assuring desired damping action. SOLUTION: A piston body 4 is stored in a cylinder body 3 which forms a double-rod damper stored in the core part of a fork body comprising a vehicle body side tube 1 and a wheel ring side tube 2. The proximal end of a lower rod body 52 is connected to the piston body, and the distal end thereof projects downward from the bottom end 31b of a cylinder body 3. The lower rod body holds an oil lock piece 6 in a lower oil chamber R2 formed by the piton body 4 in the cylinder body 3 and also holds an oil lock case 7 which fits the oil lock piece 6 to the bottom end 31b of the cylinder body 3 through which the lower rod body 52 extends.
