PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid-sealed vibration damper capable of effectively exhibiting preset damping characteristics by suppressing the pulsation of a hydraulic fluid. SOLUTION: This vibration damper includes: a rubber elastic body 2 having a connection member 1 connected to a vibration generating source; a case 3 having a bottom wall 3a and a peripheral wall 3b and demarcating an enclosed space M on the inside by the connection thereof to the rubber elastic body 2; a diaphragm 4 which is disposed in the enclosed space M in proximity to the bottom wall and which forms a filling space for the hydraulic fluid between itself and the rubber elastic body 2; a partition wall 6 dividing the filling space for the hydraulic fluid into two parts to form a main liquid chamber 7 and an auxiliary fluid chamber 8; and a limiting passage 9 having an entrance 9a communicating with the main fluid chamber 7 and the auxiliary fluid chamber 8 and allowing the hydraulic fluid to move forward and backward between the main fluid chamber and the auxiliary fluid chamber. The outer wall demarcating the limiting passage 9 includes a pressure absorbing wall for suppressing the rise of pressure by elastically deforming when the pressure of the hydraulic fluid is excessively increased.
