PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide camera operability meeting user's skill in operation only by changing an attitude of a camera (vertical and horizontal rotations), namely, in accordance with a way of taking an apparatus. SOLUTION: The problem is solved by an angle detecting means for detecting an attitude (vertical/horizontal rotation) angle of a camera, a means for switching key validity/invalidity in accordance with the angle, and a means for restricting contents of a menu in accordance with the angle.
