PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet processing apparatus and an image forming apparatus capable of processing various sheets without causing conveying failure and alignment failure. SOLUTION: Typical constitutions of these sheet processing apparatus and image forming apparatus have a saddle inlet roller pair 801 to discharge the sheet, a storage guide 803 to stack the discharged sheet, a sheet positioning member 805 to receive a head end in the discharging direction of the discharged sheet and a presser member 12 to push the sheet received by the sheet positioning member 805 in a direction of the storage guide 803, and the presser member 12 pushes the loaded sheet toward the opposite side of the sheet positioning member 805 from the side of the sheet positioning member 805.
