PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold coil manufacturing method that has less man-hours and prevents included coils from being damaged. SOLUTION: The mold coil manufacturing method is used for molding the surface of a hollow-core coil 3, by using a molding lower-mold 6 and a molding upper-mold 8, while injecting a molding material, made of an insulating resin, from a gate 8b. A spacer 2, made of an insulating material, is previously molded into a shape that allows an air gap 11 to be formed between the molding lower-mold 6 and the hollow-core coil 3. The spacer 2 and the hollow-core coil 3 are set inside a cavity of the molding molds 6, 8 so that the spacer 2 is inserted into a hollow-core part of the hollow-core coil 3, and then, a molding material is filled into the inside of the cavity.
