PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic photoelectric on/off device whose housing can be casted with a simple mold construction, wherein it is prevented that a water-drop infiltrated into space surrounded by an external surface of a housing and a cover permeates into the housing via a through-hole formed therein and then adheres to a circuit block. SOLUTION: The automatic photoelectric on/off device includes: the housing 7 which has through-holes 211a, 211b formed therein such that controls 311a, 311b for the circuit block 3 incorporated in this device are exposed at the front surface; and a decorative cover 1 which is fitted on the front surface of the housing 7. The housing 7 has an eave 250 formed above the through-holes 211a, 211b, whereby the water-drop flowing on the surface of the housing 7 is prevented from infiltrating into the housing 7 via the through-holes 211a, 211b.
