<p>This is a device for detecting and locating at least one electrical discharge in a fluid-insulated apparatus (1) contained in an electrically conducting jacket (3). The apparatus is furnished with several earth lines (6), connected between the jacket (3) and earth (7). The device comprises several current detectors (8.1) of Rogowski coil type, and means (9) for comparing, in synchronism, the signals delivered by the current detectors (8.1). The coil (8.1) of each of the detectors is placed around one of the lines (6). Each detector delivering a signal representative of a current flowing in said line, the occurrence of an electrical discharge being manifested through an abrupt variation in the current, the electrical discharge being located inside a zone internal to the jacket (3) situated in proximity to the line which is surrounded by the detector (8.1) having delivered the first, the abrupt variation in current.</p> |
