A light homogenization apparatus and a display apparatus including the same are provided to be applied to a portable device by improving space efficiency and energy efficiency. A light homogenization apparatus(120) includes a light source, a polarizing rotary device, and a birefringence device. The polarizing rotary device has two polarizing surfaces which are vertical each other. The polarizing rotary device outputs a light emitted from the light source as a linear polarization. The birefringence device is outputted as two refraction lights refracted into different two directions. Two refraction lights are homogenized in a predetermined position.
