An electronic viscous fluid clutch assembly is provided to reduce noise, vibration and fuel consumption and to control an engine cooling fan. An electronic viscous fluid clutch assembly comprises a driving disc(4) which rotates with a driving shaft(1), housings(2,3) which form torque shear region with the driving disc, a viscous fluid reservoir(6) which is installed within the housing, a fluid passage(19) which circulates viscous fluid to the viscous fluid reservoir after the viscous fluid passes through the torque shearing regions(5-1,5-2), and a solenoid valve(10) which is installed in the fluid passage and controls the flow of the fluid. The solenoid valve comprises a valve body(21) which opens and closes one or more viscous fluid valve holes formed in the fluid passage, and a solenoid which generates magnetic force so that the valve body opens and closes the valve hole with the magnetic force.
